Appointments/Arrival/Cancellations
Please leave jewelry and valuables safely at home before coming in for your scheduled appointment. If you have a particular injury or physical condition, please explain to your esthetician prior to treatment. They can suggest appropriate adjustments to the treatment for your comfort and enhancement. Please try to avoid excessive sun exposure and the consumption of alcoholic beverages on the day of your treatment. To ensure lasting treatment and relaxation, please refrain from scheduling a physically demanding endeavor immediately after an appointment.

Our scheduling is designed to allot the correct amount of time to complete your service. Please plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. A late arrival will deprive you of precious treatment time. Depending on the treatment, if you are late over 30 minutes from the scheduled appointment time, the staff at Josiane Lederman M.D., Dermatology Associates reserve the right to cancel your appointment if they are unable to accommodate you due to cutting into other guest appointments. We value and respect our guests' and experts' time and appreciate your understanding regarding our medical spa's policy.

Your appointment is reserved exclusively for you. In order to provide you and other guests with excellent service and access to appointments, please provide our skincare clinic with at least 24-hour notice for any cancellations or rescheduling an appointment.
Appointment Reminder Policy
As a courtesy to our guests at our skincare clinic, we will send a phone call confirmation reminder the day prior to the scheduled service. If your appointment falls on a Monday, we will send a phone call confirmation reminder the Friday prior. Should the appointment reminder system fail for any reason and you do not receive an appointment reminder, it is still your responsibility to manage your appointment and adhere to our policies.
Skincare Clinic Environment
For consideration of all guests, please silence all cellular phones before entering the skincare clinic.
For the safety of your children and the relaxation of our guests, as well as your own, please make prior arrangements for the care of your children. Please be aware that Josiane Lederman M.D., Dermatology Associates is not responsible for the well being of your children while at the skincare clinic.
This is your time and you should enjoy your experience to the fullest. Whether it is the room temperature, the amount of conversation, volume of music, comfort, the amount of massage pressure, etc., we will check in with you so that we can adjust if necessary. Almost all aspects of your treatment can be modified to your preferences. Please feel free to share with us how we can make your service even better. Your comfort and care is our greatest concern and top priority.
Skincare Clinic guests must be 16 years of age or older. Minors age 16-18 are required to be accompanied by a parental guardian. A parental guardian must be present for the entire service, and will be required to sign requested paperwork.
Payments/Returns
​All payment is expected at the time of service; however, some services such as a series treatment require the full payment in advance. We accept cash, check, debit, and most major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) for treatments and services performed by the esthetician at Josiane Lederman M.D., Dermatology Associates.
While we make every effort to make our guests as happy as possible, all service charges are final and non-refundable. We cannot offer refunds on any used or unused appointments/sessions for individual services, service packages or service series.
